Postcard Abbey Maria Toevlucht – Zundert

The current abbey church was built in 1914 and the complex has been expanded from then. The Sterrebos with the gazebo shows off on the front of the card. You are probably familiar with the Trappist beer ‘Zundert Trappist’, which is brewed and sold by the monks.

Postcard Abbey of Egmond

In 1573 the Abbey was destroyed by the Geuzen to prevent the Spaniards from taking advantage of it. In 1933 the new monastery was built which was expanded after WW II.

Postcard Assen
